Dispute Resolution & Commercial Litigation

What is Dispute Resolution?

Commercial disputes in Thailand can be resolved through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or court litigation. Choosing the right mechanism depends on the contract terms, the relationship between parties, and the commercial stakes involved.

Our attorneys advise clients on the most effective and cost-efficient path to resolution — from early-stage negotiation through to full court proceedings or arbitration.

Our Litigation Services

We represent clients before the Thai Civil, Criminal, and specialised courts — handling commercial disputes, contractual claims, injunctions, debt recovery, and enforcement actions across Thailand.

Our litigation team acts for both plaintiffs and defendants, combining deep knowledge of Thai civil procedure with international legal standards. We handle cases at all court levels including the Supreme Court.

Types of Dispute Resolution

Negotiation & Mediation — We represent clients in structured negotiations and mediation, often the fastest and least costly route to resolution. Thailand’s courts increasingly encourage mediation before litigation proceeds.

Arbitration — For international disputes, arbitration is often preferred. Our FCIArb-accredited attorneys act as both counsel and arbitrators. Learn more on our Arbitration & ADR page.
